Now we proudly feature this guy for new CPR guest mix, Elaquent (stillMuzik / HW&W Recordings / GillBreathing ), is undoubtedly one of the finest Canadian Hip-Hop / Beat producer for long time. I remember when I first met and heard his beat at Beat Lounge (Hip-Hop producer showcase event) in Toronto, I was totally floored with that banger, a neck-breaking beat with full of 8bit sound (guess it was ZELDA sample..). He just dropped his latest album, “The Scenic Route” (stillMuzik, 2012) contains so much Soul and Jazzy vibes with perfect laid-back atmosphere. I guarantee, It’s type of music that you can listen anywhere, anyplace, something that never gets old… so don’t forget to check it out in addition to the mix. According to his mention, the mix has been done with SP-404 only, so it’s rough and wild shit… Enjoy! -mfp-
今回のゲストミックスは、カナダはトロントの鬼才 Elaquent (stillMuzik / HW&W Recordings / GillBreathing )！トロントのビートプロデューサーショーケース「Beat Lounge」で彼の8bitサウンド（確かゼルダのサンプルだった。。）で打ちのめされたのを今でもはっきり覚えてます。先日リリースされたばかりのアルバム “The Scenic Route” (stillMuzik, 2012) は彼のサウンドの一つの骨頂でもあるSoulとJazzが存分に詰まった、かなり良質なアルバムになってるので、ミックスに合わせてこちらもチェックしてみて下さい！レイドバック感たっぷりで、どんなシチュエーションにも合いそうな心地よい仕上がりになってます。あと今回のミックスはSP-404だけで作られたワイルドな作品になってますので、その辺も楽しんでもらえたらと思います！-mfp-
